Accounting Administrator – Bilingual (English and Punjabi) – Full-time
The opportunity: The Accounting Administrator will have strong commitment and dedication in providing administrative support and customer service.
We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. They will be someone who has excellent organizational skills, and is detail oriented. They will also be responsible for assisting with clerical and administrative support.
Ultimately, the successful candidate will demonstrate efficiency and a high-level of accuracy while maintaining valuable accounting and administrative information on our company databases and computer systems.
The successful candidate will have effective communication skills — demonstrates exceptional customer service skills and builds/maintains excellent relationships with clients and various stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with any assigned accounting, clerical or administrative-related tasks.
Key Accountabilities:
- Greet visitors coming into the office, assist, or direct them to the appropriate person – organizing client appointments while adhering to COVID precautions
- Handle incoming phone calls, assist, or direct to appropriate individual
- Responds to all emails and voicemails within 24 hours
- Determine the appropriate file location/or setup of client files
- Review information received and identify inaccuracies or missing information
- Receives and send out mail, coordinate couriers and administer faxes
- Maintains high levels of confidentiality and privacy
- Ordering business cards, logo stationery and office supplies
- Assist with copying, faxing, and scanning projects as required
- Any other duties to meet workplace operations
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail while preparing and maintaining both financial and administrative documentation and records
- Keep up to date on all COVID-19 related requirements for office
Qualifications
· Post secondary diploma in business administration or equivalent work experience an asset Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an Administrative position
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and QuickBooks accounting software
- Proficient in English and Punjabi

Schedule:
· Mon – Friday: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM – 37.5 hours/week
· Weekend availability required during Tax season
· Availability of remote work after completion of 3-month probationary period
Visa Requirements: Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada. We are unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization for this position.
